As the seasons shift and Sheridan prepares for the chill of winter, A&B Buildings proudly wrapped up our first-ever Building Better Communities initiative — a project aimed at giving back to the people who make our town special.
Through this program, we asked the community to nominate individuals who could use a little extra help with home or yard work heading into the colder months. The responses were heartfelt, and our team was honored to lend a hand to three incredible women right here in Sheridan.
Our crew spent the day tackling everything from yard cleanup and winter prep to small repairs and maintenance tasks — the kinds of things that can make a big difference in staying safe and comfortable through Wyoming’s colder months. Each project was a reminder of why we do what we do: because a strong community is built on care, connection, and helping one another.
“We helped three amazing women in Sheridan and learned their stories,” said Joshua Smith, Owner of A&B Buildings and Supplies.
A&B’s has cared about more than just construction. We care about building community. We’re already looking for our next way to give back and support our neighbors. But for now, we are happy about the work we did in this initiative and, more importantly, the relationships we made through it.
To everyone who nominated someone or helped spread the word: thank you. Together, we’re truly Building Better Communities.
